What will sLIE do?NOTHING!
^^Continue to lead the city. That's what.
^^^^ shut up sLIE and Chris
Where’s Chris with his words of wisdom? It’s the cities fault for those people being there in the first place.
Thanks for the laugh this morning! Mayor Bullhorn can barely lead himself to his neverending feedbag.
But sLIE said he eliminated the homeless problem, he said he fixed it, sLIE lied........... again
tire fire melts steel?
First you tell us they're homeless and then you tell us they are living under a bridge. Which is it?
^^^ Lulz. Unfortunately, the state won't allow people to find shelter where they can. So technically they are homeless even though their homes have been destroyed.
There is a HUGE Network of help available in Kansas City for ANYONE who needs it! These people are those who CHOOSE not to go to the shelters, because if you do then you have to follow their damn RULES, like not robbing, beating or raping the other people in the shelter, not getting drunk or high anytime you want to, and even (if you can imagine this)bathing once in a while. OUTRAGEOUS! NO WONDER THEY CHOOSE TO LIVE ON THE STREET!And of course, these problems, ranging from the HUGE number of "Street bums" to this Vandalism, even to the poor druggie found floating face down in the Fountain (who would have received medical help in a Shelter) are directly attributable to those of you who HAND OUT CASH to these Panhandlers, ONLY BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELVES! YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF ALL THIS!Stop giving them money, and they will be forced to either accept the help so freely offered, or move someplace where the handouts are easier.
There is a dislodged door in a concrete embankment for I believe I-35 a little north of there. Goodness knows what is going on there. The city kind of has to let the bums live in those scary woods east of downtown loop/along river/along bluffs. Where else can they go? A collision awaits between the debt-heavy gentrification areas of River Market and the homeless squatters living footsteps away. I believe 4th and Broadway (under ramp to Broadway bridge) is the "Frontline" so to speak of the coming disaster. -Radish
