Behind the scenes our blog community shared the desperate struggle for urban core low-income housing and a recent hobo ruckus that has closed an important access point for Downtown Kansas City.
Here's recent confirmation of the damage and a glimpse at the future:
"The fire on May 11th did EXTENSIVE damage to the bridge structure and the tier (underneath surface of the deck). They are estimating several months to complete repairs. It is NOT SAFE to drive on this road. PLEASE do not move the barriers and try to sneak thru. This convenient short cut is not worth short cutting your life."

ReplyDeleteTeam Slie is trying to drive the homeless/low income out of the downtown area as he does not want them ruining his tainted image of KCMO. This is also why the housing rents are kept so high and no low income housing available. Team Slie does not want to deal with the homeless and low income portion of the population. He has no use for them.
