  5. Twit-in Chief is the main reason political civility is now so divisive.

  6. It's odd that "the community" expresses "outrage" at the scores of homicides that take place year after year, but somehow what passes for "leadership" in that same community barely offers a passing glance at that issue.
Instead they're focused on renaming streets, intimidating organizations to hire clearly unqualified applicants, shaking down corporations and foundations for big bucks, demanding that more tax money is poured down black holes like 18th and Vine, and all sorts of other self-serving activities.
And, of course, they're all for marches and protests about events that happen in OTHER CITIES around the country.
    Charity begins at home.

  7. The so called "leaders" in KCMO are nothing more than followers. Cleaver should also be outraged about the murder of two young people in his district. Instead he is more concerned about illegals. It is way past time that the powers to be start caring about their city and what happens it it. Team Slie and Cleaver should be advocating about taking care of KCMO in the form of fixing infrastructure and actually caring about the legal residents.
