KCTV5: 2 Wyandotte Co. deputies shot outside county courthouse
KSHB: The deputies’ conditions are unknown at this time. Sources report the shootings took place during a prisoner transport.
KMBC: Police said the suspected shooter was also shot.
KCUR: Police confirm the deputies were shot at the courthouse in downtown Kansas City, Kansas. A third person, a possible suspect, was also shot.

ReplyDeleteAnd of course if the animal who did this lives through his surgery the state of Kansas will fight tooth and nail against the death penalty, and if a death sentence is handed down the state will not kill him but divert the cost to the taxpayer for a generation to keep his sorry ass alive. This state has to get tough on these crimes. After a guilty verdict he should be put down within a year. Stop wasting money on these people.

ReplyDeleteThe shooter took a gun from one of the two deputies transporting him, then shot them both. The stories don't say who then shot the shooter. The only possible political angle in this scenario is if the shooter took the gun from the smaller and weaker woman (if she in fact was smaller and weaker), in which case the question would be why are they hiring small and weak women to do work that could require a man's strength.
