INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Detectives are trying to identify a man who they say stole cigars and fired a gun at a 7-Eleven store manager's feet. Independence police said the aggravated assault happened at the 7-Eleven at 11001 E. 23rd Street. A customer told the store manager the man pictured above hid cigars and left without paying for them.
