No it's a bad idea

Good idea would be to stop handing money out to developers like it was Halloween candy.

A better tax idea is a 30% tax on all female beauty products. Tax the lipstick for the pre-K kids education.

After almost 8yrs in office why is sLIE trying to do something about education now? What’s his motive? He’s already stealing money from the school district to pay developers so this is apparent he’ll do the same with this money.

Why don't we buy diapers and wipes? Really? When does Mom &Dad start paying the bill? Sly is a fucking crook like Kawamee Kilpatrick. He belongs in jail!

No it isn’t a good idea, because of our mayor and city government and our school system. They’re simply inadequate and squander resources.

It's a terrible idea. You want to have another year of liberal indoctrination of children. That is one of the three legs that has hurt this country. The education system, Hollywood, and the media!

that one WE would approve of !!!!!!!!!!!!

Child assistance in exchange for sterilization of the mother. One child Welfare law.

Pre-K education is good, but it should not be done with a regressive tax. Raise property taxes to accomplish this!

7:22 got it slightly wrong. 6:54 you are fucking idiot.

6:54, there is no solid evidence that Pre-K children do better than similarly situated non Pre-K children several years later. An expensive Pre-K program would end up just like Head Start - it does no lasting good and costs a lot of money but nevertheless it can't be killed.

The problem, or rather why there is this perceived need to raise a tax to fund pre-K education is simply because most of the money that SHOULD be going to pre-K and education programs is being diverted, by way of TIFs, abatements and other incentives, to people like Burns and Mac, The Mike Burke/Loews/JE Dunn crime syndicate building the new hotel downtown, etc....

If all these corporations that we've handed out corporate welfare over the years would pay what they SHOULD be paying, we wouldn't be in the predicament we're in now. As it were, every time sewers need to be fixed, or streets need to be fixed, or school programs funded, or library systems upgraded, we have to raise a tax. A tax where the primary payers are the working class.

I assume one more year of "education" will fix the abject failure of the Kansas City Public Schools (after over a BILLION DOLLARS HAVE BEEN INJECTED INTO THAT SHITHOLE). Are you fucking kidding? Just another ploy to confiscate more taxpayer's money.

Democrats never met a tax they didn't like.

Tax everything.

And whatever the cost of the tax... in Emanuel Cleaver's words, "It 'taint enough"!

Sales tax... the latest democratic pot of gold. It is a race to see how high they can raise it... in Europe, sales tax is 20%.
