Kansas City Northlanders: Here's How To Cross Missouri River With Buck O'Neil Bridge Closed
Starting Saturday, southbound lanes on the Buck O'Neil Bridge will be shut down for construction until December. This will inconvenience around 44,000 commuters who cross the bridge daily. Here are alternate routes: If you're heading south on Route 169 and I-29: You'll see signs directing you to Southbound I-35 to the Christopher S.
Don't blame me, I voted for Hillary.
ReplyDeleteDon't allow the media to mislead you, buried in this article is the truth, this is all about installing a Bike Lane to kiss the Bike Nazi's asses!
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the project involved "stabilizing" (reinforcing) a single pier, which could have been done without closing any traffic lanes, and reinforcing cable plates, which MIGHT involve closing only the outside traffic lane for a few hours each night for a week.
Northlanders did not support Kat Barnes or Sly James, and now they are paying the price.
!! DEANNEXATION NOW !!
sLIE forgot that in order for people to live and play in his kingdom that the bridges need replaced, just one more reason not to live downtown if nothing gets repaired there’s no way to get there
ReplyDeleteBut at least we have a streetcar!
ReplyDeleteOh no! deferred maintenance! I don't want my bridges fixed! Oh no! Who in the hell does the city think they are? Trying to fix a bridge? Oh no!
ReplyDeleteThe fucking balls on this mayor! Fixing a bridge! Utter bullshit!
ReplyDeleteAll of the TV stations are recommending using the Heart of America or Kit Bond bridges. Why hasn't any of these "traffic reporters" suggested the Fairfax bridge. Almost no traffic problems that way.
ReplyDeleteEverybody who actually uses this bridge knows how to get around it. It's the geriatric shut-ins who are complaining about it. Ironic.
ReplyDelete^^^ yes...and now EVERYBODY will be using those already congested routes to get to work...
ReplyDeletesomething you ought to give a try , Corpro VBoy
@ 7:29 and @ 8:31, NOBODY IS COMPLAINING ABOUT FIXING THE BRIDGE!
ReplyDeleteIf yu bother to read rather than snark, you'll see hat the complaints are about the COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY CLOSURE of BOTH southbound lanes.
But of course that fact wouldn't fit into your pissy little snit, would it?
^^^If they deem both southbound lanes necessary to complete the repairs, then by nature isn't it "necessary maintenance" you geriatric fucktard? But of course that fact wouldn't fit into your pissy little snit would it fucktard?
ReplyDelete@10:29AM unless you can produce your engineering credentials explaining why the lane closures are "unnecessary", you should know your role and shut your hole. You're just another geezer running your mouth about things you are unqualified to speak on.
ReplyDeleteWould anyone like to know how to find the home address of MoDOT’s Joseph Turner? The MU product who thinks that he is so smart and that everyone should support his ideas like those diverging diamond interchanges?
ReplyDelete11:04 shut up sLIE, this whole mess is your fault, don’t worry about us commoners though, we’ve had seven years of your “deferred maintenance” to deal with and most of us have gotten used to how bad you’ve screwed this city up.
ReplyDelete^^^Rage, rage against the dying of the light geezer!
ReplyDelete^^^^^Definitely not Dylan Thomas. Or even a reasonable facsimile.
ReplyDelete1:30 is sLIE and he hates “geezers” because we old farts smell a rat and the young are too stupid to know this. The youngsters today can’t read or think past 120 characters and believe will buy into anything.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a sprawl bridge. Don’t complain about modot or the mayor or bikes or the general assembly. Why make a single mom who works a job in Oregon County pay for a bridge for rich Platte/ClayCounty car addicts who have no imagination (but do have a 3 car garage attached to their $300k McMansion in a cookie cutter subdivision)? Users should pay for it- that’s only fair. A toll bridge is not a heresy. Both paseo and broadway bridges used to be toll bridges.
