TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE CONTROVERSY!!! POSTCARDS AGAINST CRYSTAL STOLEN!!!
A scathing critique against incumbent Legislator Crystal Williams was shut down last night.
Via a Courthouse insider, here's the story:
"This postcard was circulated at the Jackson County Democratic Committee last night. It looked like there were enough for the 100 people there and many got one but someone grabbed the stack and got rid of them. We know who you are! Those were not your property to steal. This person probably steals yard signs and mail also. These cards were expensive and you just took them. Please return what you stole back for disbursement. It is a crime to take something that is not yours just because you don’t want the truth told about Crystal. We will contact the police if they are not returned. There are several witnesses that saw the person steal the documents and we would like to avoid the embarrassment of someone being charged with theft at a democratic meeting."
The flip side of the postcard gets rougher than even TKC would dare:
To wit . . .
BRUTAL POSTCARDS TARGETING INCUMBENT LEGISLATOR CRYSTAL WILLIAMS THREATEN TO TEAR APART JACKSON COUNTY DEMOCRATS AMID PRIMARY SEASON!!!
Behind the scenes, there are tough feelings about her reelection bid and Crystal's primary challenge threatens to create a rift among otherwise unified local Dems.
UPDATE From Jackson County Democratic Committee Insiders:
"Those postcards are not and were never property of the Jackson County Democratic Committee. We didn't pay for them or have any knowledge of their existence before they appeared last night. We don't pay for or circulate baseless attacks against even Republicans, let alone incumbent Democrats.
"I don't know where they came from but it wasn't officially from the committee. Whoever did pay for them should own up to it instead of hiding behind the "constitutionally protected free speech comment" line at the bottom of the card. Voters are allowed to criticize elected officials, but they should own up to it . . ."

Crystal is a politician and she has been equally rough with her opponents. Looks like she's getting a taste of her own medicine.
ReplyDeleteHer opponent, John Burnett, doens't really even have to play hard ball like this. The post cards are from people who really don't like how she has governed during her tenure. There are a lot of women from GWPC who can't stand her as well.
DeleteIt's not even a Hillary thing, she has just crossed way too many people.
The handcuffs were a bit much but I'm not against her resigning. The thought of her running another campaign against TKC is far too painful to bear.
DeleteHey now, if you lock her up. Don't be cruel, send her some place nice and not the Jackson County Jail.
ReplyDelete^^ Lulz!
DeleteCorruption in JACO politics? Waris Shields Sanders Pendergasts(plural) Truman on and on and on. The only MO government where a felony conviction does not disqualify an office seeker/Holder
ReplyDeleteOpposition against her has crystallized
ReplyDelete.
Anytime they state you need to return these or we will report you usually means they have no clue who stole the items and they want them to feel paranoid and return the stolen things.
ReplyDeleteWhat law enforcement would they call? Sheriff Forte? Now that would be a joke. Jackson and St Louis county both need a huge ass royal douche, throw all the bums out of office and start over again.
ReplyDelete^^^Wow. Boring. Dull dullards giving dim views on stultifying topics.
ReplyDeleteSet local politics to music and you have a 21st Century Threepenny Opera, an opera for beggars.
ReplyDeleteThere are some who are in darkness
And the others are in light
And you see the ones in brightness
Those in darkness drop from sight.
Act III represents the intent of local politicos
Jenny comes to the Peachums' shop to demand her bribe money, which Mrs. Peachum refuses to pay. Jenny reveals that Mack is at Suky Tawdry's house. When Brown arrives, determined to arrest Peachum and the beggars, he is horrified to learn that the beggars are already in position and only Mr. Peachum can stop them. To placate Peachum, Brown's only option is to arrest Mack and have him executed. In the next scene, Mack is back in jail and desperately trying to raise enough of a bribe to get out again, even as the gallows are being assembled. Soon it becomes clear that neither Polly nor the gang members can raise any money, and Mack prepares to die. Then a sudden reversal: A messenger on horseback arrives to announce that Macheath has been pardoned by the Queen and granted a castle and pension. The cast then sings the Finale, which ends with a plea that wrongdoing not be punished too harshly.
^^^^^^ Not as boring as a jackasss who can't post anything except for feeble pissy little snarks about others!
ReplyDeleteIf you find this boring, stay off the blog, I'm sure someone will notice you're gone in a year or two!
^^Easy pops, did someone steal your tapioca? Let me hit you with truth: This blog is for retards. Don't get angry when it's pointed out to you. Just accept you're a retard and you like conversing with other retards about retarded topics and own your shit. The rest of us have the right to laugh at said retards being retarded. End of lesson.
ReplyDeleteI have personally found Crystal to be a person who abhors personal cooruption and I don't think it's fair to lump her in with Sanders and White. That being said her style of pugnacious politics really rubs me and other baby. Her abrasiveness is her downfall and sometimes she is her own worst enemy.
ReplyDeleteAddressing accusations of political corruption by...
ReplyDeleteSTEALING postcards.
Jackson County politics at its finest.
And dripping with irony.
What's next? Extortion and kidnapping?
We already have plenty of theft.
You really can't make this stuff up!
I was at the meeting and I didn’t see or hear anything about this.
ReplyDeleteI see basement boy is up early. At least 3 comments on a single topic.

Wow it's the Tony Botello story
Here is crystals response https://twitter.com/crystalpolicy/status/999290979663433728?s=19
ReplyDeleteOh, is it a ploy to claim theft, with hopes for injecting intrigue to get wider attention to the postcards? Can't the loss be written off to scammy printing expenses? Seems laying out a stack as distribution is a cheapskate way out of postage costs, and hypocrisy that Dems who tout jobs in KC, are taking away from union postal workers. Hmmmm...
ReplyDelete^^^Cutting edge insight here from a guy who talks to himself all day long. Just top-of-the line, TKC insider stuff! Go man go!
ReplyDelete11:09 Wow. Some really heavy, heavy words of wisdom you provide on here. This is really some remarkable insight. Your comments are just the most nuanced and insightful stuff we have ever seen! Keep this quality work up! Incredible!
ReplyDeleteWilliams sends her employees on City payroll to spy on community groups. So check your FB friends and see if they work in Williams office?
ReplyDelete^^^Kick-ass TKC insider stuff!!! Wow!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great game to play in school. I'm happy my tax dollars are being spent correctly on things we need, hopefully Forte will milk the county for a mil or two.
ReplyDeleteWhen do we get postcards showing Frank White with Mike Sanders? Any photos of them meeting to discuss Frank replacing Mike as county exec or of Mike arranging to get Frank out from under foreclosure?
ReplyDeleteDummocraps being dummocraps
ReplyDeleteThese are just awful human beings.
ReplyDeleteWow Crystal. You should resign.
ReplyDeleteWTF Crystal? You get someone to respond that "Whoever did pay for them should own up to it instead of hiding behind constitutionally protected free speech?" Are you kidding me? Don't try to change the issue away from your horrible service record by trying to scare those who have the courage to criticize you activity in the corrupt county. What would you say if someone told a #metoo victim that they had a right to criticize but had to "own up to it" and face the scrutiny? You would be incensed...and rightfully so. Instead of responding with any good things you did do as chairperson, you call out any criticizers and try to make that the issue. Shame on you. So glad you will be gone soon.
ReplyDeleteThis is hysterical and extremely entertaining. So grateful I do not live in corrupt and crumbling JaCo.
ReplyDeleteCrystal has been there throughout the corruption but wants to say she isn't involved. I read and re-read the postcard and can't find the problem. Is it not a real photo of her with Mike Sanders? If it is photoshopped, that is wrong but if she was working with him and smiling and posing for pictures, "you are judged by those you are with."
ReplyDeleteI find it ironic that Crystal calls for Governor Grietens resignation when he has not been convicted of anything but she cries foul when there is a call for her resignation from her position when her county has been investigated and when a real picture of her smiling with a a REAL CONVICT emerges. #doublestandardmuch
