MSM round-up of former colleagues and quick journey through the political history of the Guv who was, reportedly, a Democratic Party loyalist for most of adulthood. Read more:

The Lesson of Eric Greitens, and the Navy SEALs Who Tried to Warn Us

The Missouri legislature is scheduled to begin a special session, on Friday, to discuss whether to impeach Eric Greitens, the state's embattled governor. A former Navy SEAL who was once a rising star in the Republican Party, Greitens is now fighting allegations of sexual coercion, blackmail, invasion of privacy, and misuse of charity resources to fund his campaign.

  1. Definitely a one sided report.

There are a lot of military veterans who also support the Governor. Can only agree with TKC that the focus on his personal life takes away from the best interests of the voters.

  2. Why does New York print so much stuff about killa shitty and Missouri in general? Why do they care???

  3. Butthurt "Macho Men" who don't want to hear that their "hero" didn't do shit as a SEAL speak out.

@5:41, since the Missouri Media won't do their research on Duct Tape, the New Yorker did it for them. This SHOULD have been made public before the election, so the "best interests of the voters" that @5:34 talks about would have kept them from electing this phony in the first place.

And @5:34, of course there are a lot of veterans who support Greitens, but most of them are the type that you see wearing "Vietnam Veteran" hats and jackets, when all they did was sort socks in a Fort Riley QM warehouse, or spend a tour stateside in the Navy or Air Force.

I'm a vet myself, and I've done volunteer work counseling vets, and one thing I know about those who've actually been "in it" is that they don't spend a lot of time talking about their experiences, especially with anyone who hasn't "been there" themselves.

    BEWARE OF POSERS!

  4. Maybe Greitens and Jason Pander could have a "lie-off" about their heroic military records.
    Entertaining, but not very informative.

  5. 6:21 I read all this stuff about greitens during his run for governor, none of the stuff the New Yorker said is new and breaking news, I’m with 5:41on this, why New York and latimes is printing regurgitated news is a mystery to a lot of people. Does all this have anything to do with elections coming up? Drag one party down to boost another party? I had no idea Missouri’s elections were another states or even news papers concern.

  8. lucky me, i get to have encounters with vets who like to tell me things like how2 annihilate a deer with a minigun. Must of been hitting on me, always attract the good ones.

  9. Nothing good here on Greitens.
His demons and supporters are ignoring basic facts and many impeachable offenses.
But no worries... He has made so no one will switch parties again and have a chance.
As his approval rating tanks below 40% and Missouri is talked about for the wrong reasons- thank Greitens for this.
His always changing his mind (Democrat/ Republican- No Dark money/Dark Money- No Lobbyists/Lobbyists- I am a family man/Affair) so counting on him is like nailing Jello to the wall.

  10. 6:54 brings up a very good point and to be honest I think they are very correct about the reason why.
