  4. Millenials and hipsters like anything that puts them in the proximity of dicks to suck. Even a shitty restaurant, as long as there is a reasonable chance they will get to suck some dick.

  7. Hey, noodleheads--and Tony--y'all missed a major news error.

Food and Wine Magazine describe Mission Ks as being in "southwest KC MISSOURI!!!"

Wrong state. Wrong direction. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play???

"Colicchio's Crafted Hospitality is collaborating with real estate developers GFI and Cameron Group on the project which is being built at the Gateway development which takes over a former shopping mall in the City of Mission in southwest Kansas City, Missouri."

    Ouch!
I'm thrilled that it will be where the old Mission Mall was, rather than a preposterous Walmart with fancy condos upstairs.

And I'm glad it won't be in the Crossroads, which has way too few parking spaces. Parking should be free, since it will be in Mission. The way life should be...

  8. This is why you need copy editors. It's more of a typo.

Just drop the word "in". They meant southwest "of" Kansas City, Missouri. As part of the metro area or in relation to downtown, it is SW.

Or better, clarify it's in Mission KS, 'a suburb' SW of KCMO.

Nationally, it is typical that the whole metro area is referred to as KC, although we know that's lazy reporting and inaccurate.

  9. It WILL fail.
The 20 year old, prime aged HOLE-IN-THE-GROUND commonly know as mission, ks., is no place for ANOTHER really-soon-to-be resturant failure.
A wal*mart would have ROCKED in that space, and tax generated by that wal*mart had it been built the year after tear-down of the mall, would have made the city of mission rich enough to eliminate residential property tax, thus allowing homes to be remodeled and sold to up and coming young persons in process of family building.
mayor Laura mc conwell was trying to make mission into leawood! Hard to make leawood out of dog shit.
Yo, madam mayor, it’s still dog-shit WITH a DRIVEWAY TAX!

  10. If it's not going to be in a Wal-Mart, where's it going to be located?
Will it be in one of the many, many, many empty Storefronts along Johnson Drive?

  11. Sure the Redheaded Trailer Trash thinks Mission is the place you ought to be so she can act like she has some class when rubbing shoulders with the rest of the trailer trash in Mission. Town is a dump full of Nazi Cops.

  12. "the project which is being built at the Gateway development which takes over a former shopping mall in the City of Mission in southwest Kansas City, Missouri." Say what????? It's either in Mission, KS or southwest KC.
They are NOT the same place. Not yet, anyway.
