Sprint announces 5G coming to Kansas City in 2019
Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure announced Tuesday that 5G will be making its way to Kansas City when it launches in the first half of 2019. Kansas City will be joining New York City, Phoenix, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles as a part of Sprint's fifth-generation cell network.
They really should stop with the 5G silly ass crap. That was a marketing ploy by Verizon and it really stuck around. It means nothing as far as network speeds, just which iteration the tech is. Verizon and sprint also have different network infrastructure making the comparo even more silly. That said, I hope it works out for them. I've used sprint for nearly 20 years and really haven't had an issue, but I also got in back in the sero days and remain in wac today.
