CLAY COUNTY LEGAL SMACKDOWN!!!

Northland legal drama amid political turmoil . . . Missouri offers a terse reprimand of this lawyer. Take a look:

Missouri Supreme Court Reprimands Platte County Prosecutor For Ethical Violations

The Missouri Supreme Court has issued a public reprimand of Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd after finding that he violated three ethical rules governing attorney conduct. The terse, one-page order did not lay out the court's reasoning. Instead, it merely listed the rules Zahnd was found to have violated and stated that he should be disciplined.

  1. I am glad he only got the reprimand. No big deal. He is tough on criminals, too bad he isn't Jackson COunty prosecutor instead of Jean Petersucker Baker.

  4. Mean Jean is as lenient on criminals as the Missouri Supreme Court is on Zhand.

  5. Zhand's prosecutors threatened witnesses. Anyone else would be charged with felony tampering.

  6. Only a Public Reprimand?

He should be barred and removed from office. When you elect to hold the position of a Prosecutor in the area you reside you should be expected uphold not only the laws of the land but the ethical laws of the court system.

  7. Wrong, dipshit. We need more prosecutors like this, not weak prosecutors like Jean Petersucker Baker.

  8. Change the Headline, Tony -
ZAHND IS THE PLATTE COUNTY PROSECUTOR!

  9. ^^^Hey stupid he may be tough on crime but when he is committing crimes more or less then he isn't good either. Makes you wonder how many he put in jail who might be innocent?
A good prosecutor does not have to threaten people in their march on crime that's makes them as disgusting as those they are trying to throw in jail.

  10. Don't give him too much credit, thanks to excellent work by the Platte County Sheriff's Department, he was lucky enough to get some high profile and airtight cases dropped in his lap.

Most of his reputation was built around those cases. When he had to deal with an accused perp who fought back, he committed these unethical and probably illegal acts.
