TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! CELEBRATE SALES TAX BLOWOUT VICTORY AMID SHAMEFUL KANSAS CITY 8% VOTER PARTICIPATION!!!

First, a newsworthy note about body acceptance and coming to terms with our our aging populace . . .

Sun UK: Kelly Brook says her body is ‘better than ever’ and that she’s no longer competing with 20-year-olds

And then . . .

WITH VOTER TURNOUT AT LEVELS FAR BELOW 10% ACROSS KANSAS CITY, SALES TAX RENEWAL WON A DECISIVE VICTORY!!!

Take a look:

Our blog community reveals that polling places were mostly abandoned today . . . It's important to realize this is by design. Politicos request unpopular tax increases at a time when locals are less inclined to visit the polls.

And so, life in Kansas City keeps getting more expensive as wages remain stagnant.

  7. I was sucker punched and robbed for a deli sandwich in KCMO one night. I called the cops and they pretty much acted like it was routine. Nothing came of it. The “good boy who was on his way to college” left the river market in a Chrysler 300 with “beats” and headed east to prospect. Dont let a shit hole town pretend to be otherwise. The safest area in downtown kcmo is river market but the heroin homeless are a daily factor. They alive along the river behind the studios. The dumbest women are the ones who think they are so hip and cool living down there and jog in the morning and nightby themselves. F’n idiots.

  8. More expensive? It was an existing tax. This was a renewal.

You're a tad confused. Or a pathological liar.

  9. Eight percent turnout and 79% approval, Yeah, sure!
    SO THEY SAY!
Don't forget that these are the same people who told us 71% of Kansas City Voters said "yes" to destroying the best Airport in the Country!

  10. ^^^Rubes. All of you. You forget that TKC is nothing more than an echo chamber for 2 dozen geezers. You all are so out-of-touch about EVERYTHING! I knew this would pass easily. It did. All you geriatrics do is complain, complain, and complain some more. I don't want to hear about how you're moving out either. Bullshit!. I voted yes, the city moves forward. You are the past.

  11. Eight percent turnout in an election involving hundreds of millions of dollars.
I gets more and more clear that most residents of KCMO have just given up.
Can't blame them with the shenanigans that continue to go on.
It's sad that the largest municipality in the region continues to be such a joke.

  12. ^^^NO, a joke is the size of your dick. All KC & Sly do is win win win!
