TKC MUST SEE!!! JACKSON COUNTY LEGISLATOR CRYSTAL WILLIAMS LAMBASTS COLLEAGUES OVER CHARTER CHANGES!!!

Special thanks to our blog community for saving this local government social media critique of a political lady responding (poorly) to talk of term limits.

Money line:

"After eight years of working with an entrenched power structure, I'm fine with term limits at the County. What the piece fails to mention until the final couple of lines is the proposal also includes pay raises for JaCo electeds (seriously?) and he says it establishes a municipal court. We already have a court, it changes how the judge is chosen. That proposal is being written by Grounds and his friend Waits, who practice law at the county. But hey, nothing to see here. The more you know . . ."

Take a look:

The implication targeting her colleagues suggests self-interest. In the meantime, expect more support her primary opponent given this social media feuding.

You decide . . .

  1. What are her views on unsolicited bulk e-mail?

  2. Why does Denny Waits' law firm get so many referrals from Jackson County Children Services? It is obvious some fix is in.

  3. I can remember a recent meeting where Jack Cardwell threatened county personnel dealing with the Animal Shelter to find more money for the shelter, or he would call his very good friend Denny Waits and cause trouble. Of course, Cardwell daughter is legislative aide to Legislator Baker and wife of the disgraced County Executive Mike Sanders. Sure the "fix is in."

  8. So the incompetence, dysfunction, and childish behavior continues.and
Even state audits, sheriff's resignation in disgrace, jail crises, and ongoing spending questions can't make these long-time electeds change their behavior.
Infighting like a clique of middle school kids.
They all should resign or certainly lose in their next elections.
Jackson County residents deserve much much better.
