TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE ADMINISTRATION WORKING TO BRING BACK FORMER KCPD CHIEF FORTÉ AS SHERIFF!!!

Political recycling is a proud tradition among elected officials in Kansas City and while it may not save the planet, the practice saves us the time of having to learn new names.

To wit . . .

TEAM FRANK IS WORKING TO BRING BACK FORMER KCPD CHIEF FORTÉ AS SHERIFF AFTER THE KINKY RESIGNATION OF MIKE SHARP!!!

Allegations of corruption and deets of three-way sex have dominated the discourse over the past two weeks but this new development should start another round of courthouse fighting.

The main point of contention . . .

FORMER CHIEF FORTÉ IS DRAWING A MASSIVE PENSION AND HIS HIGH SALARY COULD THREATEN JACKSON COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT MORALE!!!

A couple of quick refresher links for those who forget that the former KCMO top cop earned top dollar for his services.

KCPD chief racks up more than 1,800 hours of comp time

The former KCPD Chief retired with the City owning him $500K

Accordingly . . . The JaxCo Sheriff's job would start as no less than $100K and would garner the old school Chief at least a cool quarter mil in salary alone for the new job.

Now, the plan so far seems to be a low key move to bring the former Chief in for the interim as the Legislature reviews candidates for a permanent replacement. However, there's nothing (binding) in the charter that says he couldn't takeover the position.

And so . . .

The former top law man in KCMO could move across the street to make even more money whilst residents continue to see the price of so much political fighting in their tax bills as election season approaches.

Developing . . .

    1. The legislature needs to shut this one down post haste. Forte's main accomplishment was overtime hours. The county has enough problems bleeding money, this is just going to bring the financial crisis closer and closer.

Frank is breaking the budget of county just like he has done to his own house.

    2. County repossession by Missouri? That might be poetic justice.

  2. In the meantime, the murder count keeps heading north.

  3. Forte failed to bring the murder rate down in KC and look at what we've got now. Putting him anywhere near the jail or the sheriff's office would be a disaster. But Frank is showing his cards, he wants to appoint the first black sheriff in county history. This is really about his resume.

  4. FORTE, if your smart, stay out of it, let them cave in on themselves, don't bail them out !!

Give a man enough rope they'll hang themselves !

KCMO / Jackson County are Dysfunctional dimwits anyway !

let them collapse onto themselves with their own stupidity !!

  5. Forte would be an excellent choice. He has proven how utterly incompetent and dishonest he is.

  6. As incestuous as KCMO and Jackson County governments are you'd think that there were only about 135 people who lived in the entire county!
The same tired names recycled over and over again.
And each time the good 'ole Peter Principle's validity is in full view.
Promoted to each person's level of incompetence.
First as tragedy, then as farce.
It would actually be funny if it weren't so sad.
    And so costly.

  8. Hey Tony,

    ACCORDING TO WHO?

    hahahaha.

    We know, nobody.

  9. So know he wants to double dip? Get a great pension from the city and wants a paycheck from the county. KC,Mo is basically the black mafia. Tons of people getting a paycheck they don't deserve. I wonder how many people in KC,Mo get a check for a job they don't even show up for and split it with the person who "hired" that person?

  12. Forte doesn't need the job and won't take it. The Sheriff of Jackson County does almost nothing. Pick someone that is not a criminal and move on.

AS OF LATE neither KCTV 5 nor 41 is mentioning anything about this, as if their providing cover for city & county officials .

Keeping the public in the dark and clueless until after whatever has happened.

as usual par for the course

Also shows just what inept reporters, anchors and news directors we have here in this city = pathetic !

You've been Officially called out !!!

  19. No way forte takes the job at 55,000 a year, he was making four times that at kcmo not counting the ot he lied about. One of the reasons he got the boot is because he was never at work and he wouldn’t answer his phones for weeks on end, out motorcycle riding somewhere, just a terrible terrible idea

    2. As much as I like the blog Ima call Bullshit on the lying. Forte was at 90 percent of the homicide scenes this city had. Trust me he earned his money.its funny he had a contract with the board fulfilled his contract and still has to take shit.

  20. ^^^ I thought that was the job description at Jackson County, too? Why not make a little bit more money in his spare time. It's mostly a no show job.

  21. Here's the thing.

Sharp might end up in jail. The bar has been set so low that anything will be an improvement. Don't give me that crap about blacks enriching themselves, you lost the moral high ground when Sharp admitted to having a threesome with his wife and one of his employees.

  22. Hogs at the trough, that's all it is, hogs at the trough.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Forte didn't get into law school?
(remember he said that was his plan after retiring from KCPD)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Maybe Frank should moonlight as sheriff to get his house out of hock.

    ReplyDelete
  25. And he did such a good job with killa shitty........ not

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sure hire Forte what this town needs is another black in charge of something who will do nothing.

Are you kidding??? The "does almost nothing" is criterion is right down the dream job alley of any KC or Jackson County parasitic employee. He'll jump at it!
