SHAME!!! KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR RIGGED ELECTION CONTINUES DESPITE CITYWIDE VOTER SUPPRESSION!!!
Just last year voters across the city demanded a right to have their voices heard on future streetcar progress.
Now . . .
DESPITE AN ELECTION DEMANDING CITYWIDE VOTER PARTICIPATION IN THE EXPANSION OF THE STREETCAR . . . A RIGGED BALLOT MOVES FORWARD WITHOUT QUESTION FROM CITY HALL OR LOCAL MEDIA!!!
IN A VERY REAL WAY, IT'S PROOF THAT VOTES DON'T COUNT IN KANSAS CITY!!!
Here's an example of MSM complicity in this voters suppression:
Kansas City Streetcar Authority Details Proposed Stops On Extended Line To UMKC
Meanwhile, the will of the voters across KCMO has been rejected, attacked and undermined by a small crew of corporate boosters and locals under the guise of transit "progress" of a small group of downtown denizens.
Developing . . .
Hey, the streetcar can have sex with whoever it wants!
ReplyDeleteAnd, any sluts who may have been consensually kinking with the streetcar can sext partially nude photos to it. Then the cucked exes of those kinkster sluts can attempt extortions of the streetcar!
DeleteThe #kcstreetcar folks are adamant about pricing out the working class and POCs from their neighborhoods, and now they're coming after your Trolley Track Trail. It took 15 years for folks to realize the Cordish deal was bad; one day we'll regret the streetcar as well.
ReplyDeleteWell said Bryan Stalder. They are definitely planning to ruin the Trolley Track Trail greenspace and Brookside idiot homeowners have no clue that they will have this piece of garbage running next to their formely valued $350,000 homes.
ReplyDeleteDon’t forget to vote NO on Question 1, April 3rd!
ReplyDelete^^^ I did. But that's the point. The votes don't count in Kansas City.
DeleteBig money behind it, no funded or organized opposition against. The formula for a sure but dirty victory every time.
ReplyDeleteThe street car riders spend most of their time waiting on that free ride. Expanding to the plaza is dumb, by the time the train is done most of the businesses like Eddie Bauer will have moved to Johnson County.
ReplyDeleteEarly on the Kansas City Public Library Executive Director was critical of the trolley. You can bet that he is very pleased with it now. Seems the homeless no longer hang out at the library, they seem to prefer sleeping on the streetcar. This is a win-win situation. It helps the streetcar folks to boost their bogus ridership numbers.
ReplyDelete^^^ I see plenty of homeless on the streetcar and in the library. There's just more of them now, the streetcar is their ride.
ReplyDeleteI don't care. I live in the Land of oz and we have our own problems. Thanks Sam damned glad your gone.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the State of Missouri. They spend millions in an attempt to disgrace and remove an elected governor but turn a blind eye to voter suppression. There is , in my estimation, a legal vote taken last year to stop this streetcar madness and nothing is being done. No outrage in Kansas City by Beaver Cleaver. No outrage by black council persons. And how can a mail in ballot have legal identification presented to vote? Where in the hell is the ACLU?
ReplyDeleteFolks may get pissed off at one another on this blog, but it seems to be the only place people who care can blow off steam about this fucked up city. TV stations are as useless as the Star. They'll always take the easy route and read press releases from city hall. Voters are simply too stupid (or lazy) to even get on here to glean some idea of how bad they're getting screwed. I see no light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteWhen will the KCMO residents realize they have the best city money can buy?
ReplyDeleteFunny, the only group that is rallying for/against the streetcar is the "for". If it's such a waste of money and no one wants it why is there no opposition campaign?
ReplyDeleteAutonomous cars are coming. They will be pulling up the tracks in less than 10 years.
ReplyDeleteWhy should they question a legal election set up in accordance with state law? Because of some bitter crank?
ReplyDeleteGet the law changed if you hate it so much.
