UMKC Cuts 17 Jobs Amid Tight Budget
On Wednesday morning, University of Missouri-Kansas City officials announced that "some of our ranks will be leaving UMKC." An email interim chancellor and provost Barbara Bichelmeyer sent to faculty and staff stated that the university had worked for months "to reduce our deficit and to make strategic investments."
Sly better hurry and get the Streetcar extended out to serve UMKC while it's still there

ReplyDeletegreat idea for UMKC to charge in state tuition for Kansas residents....they should work out a program with JCCC where each charges the others students in state tuition and degree programs are compatable.
ReplyDeleteToo much nasty ghetto around that UMKC. Anywhere else is better. Cleaner. Safer. Cheaper. And easier to find a job after school. Kids want better, so guess what, they go somewhere else.
