  1. Terry Leeds promises double digit rate increases. Remember that if you are planning on buying a home in Kansas City.

  2. 3 & 1/2 in favor of MLK Blvd. It's a done deal.

  3. Does anyone really think there is going to be an actual discussion and consideration given to renaming a street after MLK? Sly and the council do whatever they want as long as there is money, influence or something of value in it for them. New airport, toy train, TIF's, 18th & vine, water rates, etc, etc etc.

  4. PASEO NAME CHANGE

This is only a current KC issue because a black urban church leader is using it to rally his flock, raise his profile, and gain political power.

If honoring MLK with a street is important, why has it taken 50 years to do it? I think that answers itself.

McInerney, O'Halloran, and Mirakian are afraid to tell the truth on this silly issue.

If honoring MLK with a street is important, why haven't McInerney (Leawood), O'Halloran (Prairie Village), and Mirakian (Mission Hills) lobbied for their Kansas city of residence to do so? Hypocrites!

Case closed. Paseo already has a name, and it doesn't need to be changed.
