As the Governor has a right to attend the funeral same as anyone else unless the family requested a private only funeral.

Maybe the family would prefer that neither he or anyone else desperately try to gain favorable publicity for themselves by using a dead man's funeral.

Think Duct-Tape's "thoughts and prayers" are with them?

Using a funeral for PR right now shows his lack of sophistication.

Having attended a few police funerals in my lifetime, I'm willing to bet the governor will be welcome there and his statements in support of law enforcement will be accepted with open arms.

^^Except repubtards do not support law enforcement. Check out our dear President Drumpf.

Why would the Govs attendance ruin the funeral ...unless, of course, bitter little libtards try to twist teh facts into something negative - like they damn near always do?

Politicians have always used funerals for their political gain. Does anyone remember that Governor Carnahan's funeral was the kickoff of the widow's successful campaign?
