Kansas City Police Have Been Writing Fewer Tickets But That's About To Change
For decades, city officials say Kansas City police would write about 300,000 traffic tickets a year. The last few years that's dropped below 120,000, according to Kansas City Police Department records. While that may be good for drivers, it's bad for the city's bottom line.
I guess if you can't solve murders you might as well play glorified meter maids and city fund raisers. All the more reason to shop, dine, drive, park and entertain outside the shitty limits.

ReplyDeleteI recall at one time the KCPD wrote 50% of all tickets in Missouri. I averaged about 1 per year, all for stuff that every driver does every day.

ReplyDeleteWhen has it ever NOT been a money grab? This has never been about safety. Police are trying to get rid of the WAZE app (which is great, ill say), because it allows members to drop a poloice icon pin where they see them radaring. They argue they want it banned because it allows them to be ambushed. Oh bullshit, it allows people to rat out your speed trap. Download it and help cripple thier agenda.
