The Buck O'Neil tribute is nice but a bit confusing given that bridge repair is mostly a perk for the Northland.
However, the focus on neighborhood improvement is more appropriate despite longstanding City Hall policy that spends every spare dime on pet projects & downtown developers.

I wouldn't exactly call this "rigged" but I wouldn't but there's very little doubt about how this voted will turn out.

There is a sliver lining here. If you don't agree with the Freedom Inc. Agenda and don't believe KC should tax itself to death then vote NO. Very little of the tax money beyond campaign fees will ever make it's way to neighborhoods. That's why the neighborhood blight is currently so overwhelming. They just don't spend it on fixing KCMO communities.

As usual, the money and the organization supporting the pro tax campaign are supplied by people and institutions that would benefit monetarily from it. There is no funded or organized opposition. So of course it will pass, regardless of its merit or any argument why it should not.

KCMO residents are the very definition of low-information voters.
