SHOW-ME GUNS ALL OVER MISSOURI!!!

A bold endorsement of 2nd Amendment rights that won't make anyone feel safer. Take a look:

Missouri bill would allow guns in churches, bars, daycares and colleges

Missouri lawmakers are pushing what critics call a "guns everywhere" bill that would allow concealed weapons inside colleges, churches, daycares and bars - even without a permit. Just days after students across the country marched for stricter gun control, the Missouri state House rules committee passed its bill to extend places where gun owners can take a weapon, the Kansas City Star reported Wednesday.

  2. It's illegal to drink when carrying.

Conceal carry should never be allowed in bars.

Anyone drinking and carrying should have their gun confiscated on the spot and arrested.

  4. Major agreement with the above poster . If you're not drinking , should be able to carry . If you are drinking carrying , you are arrested . Pretty much simple .

  5. Simply carrying or possession while intoxicated in and of itself is not illegal in Missouri. Negligent handling/discharge? Yes. Just having one? Nope.

*571.030. Unlawful use of weapons — exceptions — penalties. — 1. A person commits the offense of unlawful use of weapons, except as otherwise provided by sections 571.101 to 571.121, if he or she knowingly:

    (5) Has a firearm or projectile weapon readily capable of lethal use on his or her person, while he or she is intoxicated, and handles or otherwise uses such firearm or projectile weapon in either a negligent or unlawful manner or discharges such firearm or projectile weapon unless acting in self-defense

    1. It says you can't possess AND discharge/handle a firearm while intoxicated. It was illegal across the board until they amended it with the handling/discharge and self defense clause. The dead tree media through a fit about it. The original statute, you could be prosecuted in your own home if you were under the influence and had a gun.
