Turns out he was a pretty reasonable guy and simply wanted to share his viewpoint among the throng of anti-gun advocates.
The bright side of this conversation is that he was able to exchange ideas without incident but was under police protection throughout his journey into the political fray . . .
Also, the gun toting dude reminds us that KANSAS CITY OPEN CARRY IS FOR REALZ DESPITE THE OBJECTIONS OF MANY POLITICOS AND IT APPLIES TO ASSAULT RIFLES . . .

DeletePersons who have the Missouri open carry endorsement or permit or a concealed carry permit from another state that is recognized by Missouri are allowed the open carry privilege.
ReplyDeleteYou have to carry the permit with you and you do have to present it upon request by a law enforcement officer.
The state-specified maximum fine for refusing to show the permit or forgetting to carry it is $35. Openly carrying a firearm without any permit carries a $1,000 fine.
On Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, Senate Bill 656 went into effect. This new law allows open and concealed carry throughout the state, for those 19 years or older, with or without a concealed carry permit. It remains illegal, however, for domestic violence offenders and felons to carry a firearm.
CCW permit holders are exempt from ordinances banning open carry.
