I've been a guest at the "JoCo Hilton" it was probably the food but since she was still going through the initial mandatory observation period and in her cell 20-21 hours a day might have been boredom.

People make poor life choices and wind up in shitty places. Repeat that process often enough and sooner or later your inevitable death will occur in those shitty places.
