Kansas City Voting Ruckus Tonight!!!

An exceptional panel of local experts on the GOLD STANDARD of local political discourse includes our 2nd favorite Latina media lady Theresa Garza, PR dude Jason Grill, Newspaper legend Steve Rose and money man Library honcho Cosby Kemper III . . . The discussion is exceptionally important given the upcoming vote and the smallish streetcar election underway. Sheery DeJanes also adds her perspective on the toy train.

Topics include downtown development, affordably housing, MO & KS statehouse slap-fighting and education funding along with just a bit of conversation on Prez Trump . . .

  1. Heavy on the libs tonight.

Unless you're counting Rose as a conservative instead of JoCo's favorite RINO.

  5. WELCOME TO KCPT'S LIBERALSUCKUS

Sherry DeJanes = EXCELLENT Guest! This is what a smart female attorney sounds like, in contrast to that one who occasionally posts on this blog.

    PANEL

Theresa Garza -- 1 word summation = JOKE

Steve Rose -- Liberal masquerading as a moderate Republican to fit in at the country club.

Jason Grill -- 1-hit wonder, former Democrat state representative who took money from Rex Sinquefeld, accused of rape, copied somebody else's sock marketing idea then heavily promoted himself as an "entrepreneur", failed attorney.

Crosby Kemper 3 -- KCMO Mayor in a utopic world.

  6. "Typically, I need to be somewhere much more quickly then I can get there on the streetcar."

    OUCH!

That was a sick burn. Nice one.

  7. Actually, Steve did really well tonight. I think his comments on education funding in Kansas was right on the money. We're all struggling to see what the final numbers will be and what is being proposed just isn't going to work for the economy or our our state.

  8. That "newspaper legend" Rose had a family paper at one time, and a voice of his own, but he sold it.

Why should we listen to him now?

    He is a tool.

  9. Listen to Cosby. Don't vote for either of the city council people who have announced for mayor. Neither has ever met a tax incentive they didn't love.
