New Census numbers show Kansas City holding ground, St. Louis metro lagging

Kansas City's rank among America's largest metropolitan areas remains steady, but our sister city across the state is slipping. New population estimates released Thursday by the U.S. Census Bureau indicate the St. Louis metro grew ever so slightly from mid-2016 to mid-2017.

  1. Kansas City is over 400 square miles. St Louis city is 65 square miles of course there's more room for population growth in Kansas City! The st. Louis metro area should consider itself blessed that it has a smaller border. Kansas Shitty 430 square miles of crap.

  2. Hoodrats are the downfall of both cities.
