The call for Guv Grietens to resign is not only about the felony charge he's facing but also questions his ability to govern in the midst of a historic crisis. The Guv is innocent until proven guilty but there is no question that investigation and impeachment proceedings along with more revelations to come will distract the Legislature from far more important work on behalf of voters. Governor Eric Greitens promised to clean up Missouri politics and instead he threatens to drag the entire state through the mud of a revenge porn investigation in order to determine his personal responsibility while policy issues remain at a standstill and overshadowed by his admitted past behavior.

Most of you people calling for Greitens to resign are full of shit! You're being led by the nose to slaughter by a bunch of radical St. Louis community activists who hate police, hate American values, and are trying to bluff their way into forcing the Governor to resign.

If they had the photo they claim, it would have been leaked onto the front page of every liberal Democrat newspaper in the nation, and CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC would be running evening special reports. If you've got the proof you don't have to file a bluff indictment or take it to trial, somebody leaks the linking evidence and it's all over quickly.
I think they've got SQUAT. They're playing a bluffing game of death by a thousand cuts.
People who recognize the telltale signs of a political hit-job knew when the story broke it was likely a fabrication. How so? Go back to the original story of the consensual affair which took place before Greitens ran for Governor. What made it a salacious story in the first place? Certainly not the affair itself, that's passe anymore. Greitens admitted it, and apologized for the mistake. What drove the story were the details about being tied up, blindfolded, and photos taken. The Democrat operatives who planned this were clever to include those "50 Shades of Gray" details, as it ensured wide media coverage. Only problem, there are no such photos linked to Greitens, and he said so when the story broke.
When the initial plan failed to drive Greitens from office, the original operatives stepped aside having failed, but encouraged the not-too-bright St. Louis radicals to pick up the ball and run with it. If the case isn't dismissed and goes forward, they won't be able to come up with photos that don't exist. The ex-husband may have taken some photos that they try to pass off as having come from Greitens but it's all going to blow up in their faces.
If there's any justice, the St. Louis radical Democrats will wind up becoming charged defendants. And that's the real story. Whether you voted for the Governor or not, don't railroad an innocent man, as it might be you next time.
