TKC QUESTION TONIGHT: SHOULD DEADLY SCHOOL SHOOTING DEBATE OVERSHADOW KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE UPTICK CRISIS?!?!
Right now Kansas City counts 15 homicides compared to 17 at this time last year and it's been really cold which probably has saved the lives of local party people.
However, the gun debate and the slaughter of innocent youngsters has dominated the discourse over the past week.
Meanwhile . . .
KANSAS CITY IS PRETTY MUCH ON PACE FOR ANOTHER YEAR OF NEAR RECORD BREAKING HOMICIDES!!!
And so, while locals debate Constitution rights and/or rally against gun tech . . . Closer to home an ongoing deadly dilemma continues without much new concern.

ReplyDeleteSly and the gang have shown over and over again that it's much easier to blabber about things happening elsewhere around the country than it is to suck it up, identify REAL issues in their own town, make tough decisions, and actually demand some results and accountability from the people who work for them and for all the millions they spend.

That and global warming, immigration issues, and pretty much anything else that gives them a chance to try to take the public's eye off their pitiful performances.

The city has plunged into violent spree under his watch. East of Troost is hollowing out as families flee the war zone that's been created during his laser focus on downtown. Easy to defend immigrants against Trump and not stand for the poverty his policies have trapped them in. Etc etc etc
