Here's an interesting bit of local conversation that deserves a look as we prepare for the work week . . .
Apparently, everything comes full circle in Kansas City . . .
In this latest episode of the GOLD STANDARD in local political discourse we notice former dead-tree denizens who badmouthed blogs not so long ago now touting their own rather interesting offerings AND THEN political consultants hope to get the last word on the new airport . . .
Description as we offer everybody the best of luck with their future endeavors:
"Mike Shanin interviews Aaron Barnhart about his blog History Is Power which gives historical context to current news. Crosby Kemper III, Mary O'Halloran, Terry Riley and Steve Mirakian discuss the KCMO city council vote on the Edgemoor MOU and what's next for a new KCI, the concerns about the lack of transparency in the Kansas legislature and the implications of the new federal budget deal."
Take a look:
You decide . . .
Kemper and Mirakian = Outstanding!
ReplyDeleteRiley and O'Halloran = Out there!
Mary actually has a really good take on the airport. Her relaxed view of industry and city hall decisions is actually very refreshing in this instance.
ReplyDeleteGold Standard? More like bitcoin.
ReplyDeleteWow Mary/Maury actually had a nonrambleing coherent thought.
ReplyDeleteArrrrggghhh why did Loren Halifax color her hair black. WOW
Wow Aaron Barnhart makes you sound like a methed-out mumbler Tony, LIKE IT OR NOT.
ReplyDeleteThe irony is delicious. Haters on a Sunday night with nothing better to do.
DeleteThat's KC for you.
Hate for anybody who makes you feel bad about yourself.
Facebook Kills...
ReplyDeleteMike Shanin is all class.
ReplyDeleteHe's a real King Tomato in this here dungheap town.
Why can't we have Kemper or Mirakian as Mayor?
ReplyDeleteInstead all we get are clowns.
Killa city should be called clown city!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Real KC. Getting paid double time today?
ReplyDeleteReal KC, if you "REALLY" looked at KC you'd be pissed off to.
ReplyDelete1:10AM
ReplyDeleteYour comment indicates real intelligence, which is why you shouldn't live in KCMO. A smart effective person like Kemper or Mirakian would probably never be elected in KCMO because the city's dysfunctional.
