MoneyBall: Counting Kansas City Royals Earnings As Stingy Front Office Drops Payroll

The hometeam is still in profit taking mode and looking to get through another season on faded glory . . . What's more insulting is that they're telling fans that the team is losing cash . . . Check this fanboy effort to examine tricky pro-sports accounting:

Estimating how much money the Royals make

Several weeks ago, Max Rieper and I wrote a piece saying that you should be skeptical of the Royals front office claims of losing $30-35M a year. In that we focused primarily on the bottom line or net income.

Get ready for several seasons of 100 losses. The Royals are lying as usual. The have a horrible minor league system and a pathetic front office Add cheapness to the lack of talent and it equals the same old Royals.

I wish that inbred hillbilly Glass would sell the Royals to an owner that wants to win.

Short term memory loss or perhaps some other mental disorder.

If only it was your money they were talking about

And the above comments are all from the same people that bring you the KC Chief's and the same BS rhetoric that "this year is the year" (for the 49th consecutive year since the last Super Bowl appearance).
If any group of fans is getting punked by the owner it's you KC Grief's fans.
You buy tickets, you buy parking, you buy team apparel you waste your time getting drunk and puking all over yourselves in the parking lot. You defame the national anthem with "home of the Grief's" but bitch about a player taking a knee. You guys are so full of your own shit you should get a case of Miralax and chug it. Follow it with a few Tide pods too.
