No charges filed in 2 deaths; Family blames breakdown in justice system

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Tragedy has hit a metro area family twice in the last year. A 19-year-old mother and her 3-year-old nephew were both killed in two separate incidents. "It's devastating to know that we're losing our kids out here, and it's like there's nothing we can do about it," said Alicia Harness.

  1. People are quick to blame the prosecutor's office but in a lot of these cases there aren't any witnesses willing to testify.

There are a lot of reasons for high crime in KC but not all the fault rests with the law enforcement. Judges and community have to take some of the blame as well.

    1. People are NOT quick to blame the prosecutors office. Jean Petersucker Baker has been incompetent since her first day on the job with hardly any outrage.

  2. I think judges are the worst offenders in these cases. After talking to two police officers a few years ago, they said, they put them in jail only for the judges to let them right back out on the streets again. Also I lived across the street from a black man who would see a crime and wouldn't call the police. He did this several times. They have a some sort of pack with each other not to tell. With that, things are only going to get worse.

  3. if we had a real prosecutor instead of Jean Petersucker Baker, maybe the judges would not let criminals go. Jean Petersucker Baker is worthless, the worst prosecutor ever.

  4. Oh, if the prosecutors office didn't have to rely on negroes.

  9. 1. The system is racist because so many blacks are arrested and prosecuted; but, 2. When a black person demands justice, the black suspect must be arrested and prosecuted despite lack of evidence to get a conviction.

It's as clear as bullshit can be.
