Actually, better public transit options (via better bus) access is welcomed news for the metro economy overall but it never seems to happen. Here's hope that increased competition from the Internets will inspire and instruct local transit leaders to get serious about connecting workers to jobs with something more than press-release rhetoric . . .

Employers in Johnson County, Kan., had a problem: lots of jobs, but no way to get their workers from Kansas City, Mo., to this mushrooming suburban job market. So transit authorities in both areas - along with some private companies - have cooked up a possible solution to the staffing problem.
The business in Johnson County are put there to be close to the owners and managers. The $10 people are left trying to keep a car running and a roof over them and food. Build the business where the workers are, the higher ups and owners can afford to drive. Eat the rich

Employers should be ashamed of what they pay people. Everyone should make 20 a hour. You rich a-holes don't need an out door kitchen next to to your water fall that goes into your pool.
