Kansas City Star Seyz La Migra Schadenfreude Worked Against 'Free Syed' Family Visit

Our pal Tracy called out jail visiting rules on Sunday and now the newspaper strikes back with a personal insult directed at lock-up rules everybody else has to follow. Take a look:

Platte County took perverse pleasure in keeping Kansas chemist Syed Jamal from seeing his family

People around the world have been worrying about what's to become of Syed Ahmed Jamal, the Bangladesh-born chemistry instructor arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in front of his distraught family in Lawrence last month. But now officials in Platte County want to get in their own gratuitous kicks by needlessly keeping him from seeing his crying children.

Once again, we’re supposed to have separate rules for Syed, because he is a nice criminal illegal alien. Fuck Syed. Get him the fuck out of here.

Syed is no longer in the liberal gay domain of shithole Lawrence KS. He will be treated like any other illegal awaiting deportation.

Come on, I don't believe this crap, his family probably tried to visit at a time when visitors weren't allowed. Maybe they should check the visitors schedule. He needed to stop and think about the consequences of his neglect and taking advantage of our laws. Other immigrants go by the rules and so should he.

OMG, these whining snowflakes at the STAR--and Sharma the worthless attorney.

Sharma, if you book a flight on any airline, do you expect them to call you personally to tell you, get there on time--eg so many minutes early? Of course not. Because the policy is stated on their web site. And they don't make exceptions, because if they did, then there'd be other issues. Or some lawsuit by Mexicans claiming biased treatment.

Sharma, and Mrs. Syed think they are so special, the taxpayers should pay for staff to coddle them and remind them of every little rule. Well, taxpayers don't want that. Grow up. Stop blaming others for your mistakes and laziness.

KC STAR editorial board, shut up. You made it all up, that Platte County jail officials took pleasure in enforcing their published rules. Just flat made that up!

I seem to recall that on Day 1, Colleen Nelson promised that from now on, the STAR editorial board would sign their editorials.

Yet, you lash out emotionally, with an anonymous unsupported editorial. Shame on you. You're milking this. Stop it.

I heard Kansas Legislature can't fly out of California, is that true?

I wonder why the Islamic Center of Lawrence is not mentioned in this story? You would think CAIR would be in front of the Platte County jail. The petition stated he is a leader there, why are they throwing him to the kuffar? Shhhhh, that is why.
