  1. Guess I'll drive down, see if any "free" spaces are free, and go somewhere else, NKC, Parkville, Lenexa, Shawnee Mission, etc., if there aren't any.

Uhm, Mr. Mayor and Councilpersons, read the City Charter, the City is obligated to provide space for a City Market. Doesn't that imply an obligation to provide parking? Maybe consider making all lots free for two hours and towing anyone parked longer that isn't displaying a Market Employee Hang Tag.

    Just a suggestion.

  3. The downtown city markets at Overland Park and Shawnee are wonderful. Free parking, too.

  4. Ditto NKC and Parkville and just about any other town around the area.

  5. Those poor commuters who work downtown are losing their free parking spots where they park and then ride the free streetcar to work. I guess that will lower the number of 6,000 people who ride the streetcar daily.
