Two people were injured in a gun battle in the area of 45th and Elmwood in Kansas City. Officers say one victim showed up at the fire station at 32nd and Indiana. The shooting happened just before 4:40 p.m. The fire station was placed on lockdown after the victim arrived there.

The 25-year-old man was in a parking lot near 119th and Newton Avenue. He was in the driver's seat of a black 2015 Chevrolet Equinox.
