ReplyDeleteI think host Nick Haines is very professional in demeanor and delivery, but notice that his guests are all local corporate media shills.
Dave Helling is an intelligent guy with lots of historical political knowledge, but he's made a career at the KC Star. That says everything.
Barb Shelly has always been a lost cause for as long as I've been reading. She's unreasonable and intolerable.
Mark Alford must be a really naive guy, not a deep thinker, who fell into broadcast journalism and is happy making big bucks for reading scripts and looking pretty.
Michael Mahoney, what little I know about him, holds my greatest respect among this group because over the years he's actually dared to hold officials accountable and ask hard questions. In other words, he's actually practiced real journalism!
