TKC Reader Rages Against Kansas Rep. Yoder's 'Tropical Shade' Campaign

This wasn't on our radar but we wanted to thank a reader for sending this note our way. Checkit:

TKC Reader: Yoder's Tropical Shade

The national special interest groups and lobbyists want the forgotten man to know they approve of their new corporate tax cuts.

They especially want the forgotten Kansas voters of 3rd district to know they specifically approve of Congressman Kevin Yoder's votes on the new tax kickbacks refunds.

They must of searched tirelessly throughout Wyandotte County to find a proper Hispanic family like Fortino & Bertha Rivera to articulate their appreciation from the family prospective. Yoder got the message, echoing in his chamber of commerce approved mailers, that the "typical' family making $73,000 will save $2,059 dollars.

There are at least two problems (not counting the bulk mailers themselves).

First, $73,000 is not a typical family income in the 3rd district. Well, maybe in certain white flight sections of the golden ghetto, but the median income for the full district is $63,380. Less in Wynadotte and much less for Hispanic families.

Second, there are no typical neighborhoods in Kansas with palm trees. Kansans may still believe Brownback's tagline that the sun is still shining in Kansas, but with palm trees? Really?

If the GOP elites want to successfully message to flyover country, don't forgot Kansas is not the land of tropical weather and beaches (and affluent Hispanics?). Maybe Norm Coleman's American Action Network will rethink using nationwide ads with a sloppy local tag before attempting to catfish Kansas voters again.

  1. golden Ghetto is home to an army of Yoder voters. We are woke and understand we deserve to keep a little more of the all time record taxes collected in 2017.

  2. Don't tell Yoder it's warm enough for palm trees.

He may run out and skinny dip again.

  5. Kobach was seen with Tony Botello dancing and grinding to YMCA at Missy B's last weekend. Wonder if Tony had a state issued ID .

It's another to do it naked......
Someone tell Yoder, no more trips to Galilee.....
    Think of the children.

  8. So where are Yoder's TV voters, Senior Juan Q. Wetback y Esposa, really from?

I'd like to list a proper destination on their deportation papers.
