A Kansas City man and an Independence woman have been charged in connection with a December 30th homicide outside of an Independence apartment complex. Steven L. Ragsdale Jr. was found shot to death in the 300 block of N. Leslie in the Hocker Heights Apartment complex just after 7 p.m.

Police say kids loaded in car trunk found safe; investigation continues

The children who were seen on video being loaded into a car trunk and driven away have been found safe, Olathe police said Monday. But the investigation into the circumstances around the much-viewed video on social media are continuing, Olathe Police Sgt. Logan Bonney said. Concern for the children has been high, Bonney said.

Love the TV5 story on the humorous video about shoplifting. Great story.

As for axe-throwing--won't that now be illegal in Westport this spring? Hope so.
