Show-Me The End Of Missouri Unions?!?!

A renewed effort to crackdown on organized labor will essentially make collective bargaining meaningless and strip Unions of even more power. Read more:

Efforts at eliminating Missouri's prevailing wage revived in 2018

Legislation opposed by unions is being pushed again by Republican lawmakers in Missouri, and the latest efforts are targeting the state's prevailing wage. Four bills that would either scale it back or eliminate it are being considered by a state senate committee.

  1. Typical repubtard tactic. Keep the people broke, stupid and hateful. It works! It elected the big orange dotard, scammin' sammy twice, and keeps the moron Kobach relevant.

  2. You mean that the corrupt, money stealing unions will no longer have a stranglehold on the average worker and launder all their dues into the Democrat party? HORRORS!

  3. Yes...the very same unions that gave you the 5-day week, the 8 hour day, overtime, and a living wage. Those very unions. Come back when you get educated chump. You are just parroting Fox talking points. Dummy.

  4. They didn’t give me shit. Just stole my wages. I negotiate my own pay and scope of work chump!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Because of the unions you could do that, CHUMP!

  6. ^^^Another moron too stupid to live. Jesus dude, did you even go to school? Do you even know history? Christ, I hope you are in a janitorial union and not construction, fire, or police because you are one seriously stupid fucking goon.

  7. And I have to ask- how do you rectify giving all your dues money to a party that is actively seeking to replace American workers with illegal aliens? It seems like the unions are cutting your throats and you have no choice but to pay for it. Does that make you feel good?

  8. Automation's replacing workers.

  9. and I have to ask@10:04AM how did you get anywhere without having to think critically? Unions are the only power check on corporations. Are you dumb enough to think that without unions, corporations will pay their employees a fair and competitive wage? Do you think that they will just willingly and out of pure concern for their workforce, provide a safe and clean working environment? Are you stupid enough to think that they wouldn't just terminate employees willy nilly, without recourse, seniority, arbitration and justification? Do you want to see what manufacturing without a union looks like? Well do you dummy? Look at the Iphone factories in China, look at the children making your Nikes in India. Tell me that's what you want here? Goddamn I can't believe how willfully ignorant most of the people on here are. You eat every bit of shit Fox News and your Repubtard owners feed you!

  10. up to 20 yrs ago, unions were very anti-illegal immigrant . But then they were infiltrated by the marxist-socialist left and this is where we are now, one of the few revenue streams left for the disgraced party

  11. ^^^^Up to 20 years ago, most people were able to hold an intelligent conversation. They could hold two competing thoughts in their heads, and weigh the pros and cons of each. Then Fox News came on and committed to a doctrine of lies, half-truths, phony indignation, mock outrage and hilarious conspiracy theories. The masses who watched this became zombies and suddenly lost their ability to think critically, reason and debate without using Fox talking points like "marxist-socialist left. And here we are today at TKC, where these zombies feed on the shit Tony feeds them.

  13. Sorry, with our current labor laws (and Second Amendment) we aren’t going the way of Chinese sweat shops. Unions today are only a part of organized crime that couldn’t give 2 shits about the average guy. Need proof? Well why don’t you compare your house to that of your union bosses ... which one is more opulent?

    ReplyDelete
  14. @11:43 "your an idiot" Really? Really? Look hard now dummy, what's wrong with that? Do you even know? Goddamn, you can't make this shit up! It's hilarious!! 11:13 for the win!

    ReplyDelete
  15. Sorry, @11:47 or can I call you Rambo? I'm not a union man, but am smart enough to know how things work. My house is pretty damn opulent not because of any union, but because I DO work for a corporation that has gotten where it is by exploiting the fact that our employees do NOT have a union. What you fail to comprehend or acknowledge is that without a union, I can end my employees job at anytime, at will, for any purpose I deem fit, and often do just that. When my workers become older, and begin to make too much money, I replace them for younger cheaper workers. This happens ALL the time! Now you fashion yourself as some tough-talkin' guy all full of the second amendment and such, but just remember you are utterly expendable and wholly replaceable to corporations like mine. We wish everyday for someone like you to pull your piece at work.

  22. One of my favorite things about the union debate is ask your average Republican when this country was at its peak and the majority will answer "the 1950's." The same 1950's when 35% of working people were in a union and union membership was at its highest. I'm not in a union but I can recognize a rising tide raises all ships. When more people can buy big-tocket items like houses and cars, that makes the economy go round. Real wages adjusted for inflation have not risen since the early 70s in this country. Republicans will have you believe immigrants are the reason wages are stagnant but won't tell you CEO'S salaries have risen 587% in that time. That is not a typo, look it up. If you own a home you should be aware of what is coming down the pike. Boomers are dying and moving into retirement homes. Younger people can't afford homes because their job options suck, the salaries suck, and they are tens of thousands of dollars in debt. Know what that leaves a 48 year old guy like me looking to downsize or whatever after retirement? A whole shitload of empty houses on the market with no buyers and values going to shit. Hope I'm wrong but I can easily see it happening. Way too many of you are buying the lies being sold to you.

  23. Sure, Dumbo @12:53, your arrogant asshole persona must match your Olathe McMansion on a postage stamp sized lot. It's gotta be pretentious and real crap-ulent, of course. Oh, so you got a good price on it during one of the telecom downsizes with a forced transfer for your third wife who's half your age.

It's likely you're either a lying blowhard, or one of the reasons there's truly opulent offices and homes owned by some local employment law attorneys who win awards easily against big mouthed buffoons. That "any reason I deem fit" big B.S. for terminations you spouted gave you away,f*ckup.
Along with that "We wish everyday for someone like you to pull your piece at work." Ooooh, Tuffnuts in a corner office. Riiiiiight.
