  1. Dollar General has never been about the employee. They treat their employees like crap which is why they have such a high turnover rate

  2. If there's fairness for Manager Margeorie, her atty should get a DOLLARS GENEROUS settlement for this crappy termination. Her FB repost of anything unflattering about DG was from that "Mayhem" source, and was NOT words originating from Margeorie. She sounds like a dedicated manager, fielding for feedback on a critical matter regarding her employer, PLUS, IT WAS ON HER OWN TIME, PRIVATELY!

And, WTF is that CEO saying? Sounded like he wants to crank out the po' folks by keeping pay low at DG. He even said this slave wages tactic paves the way for DG to build bunches more of those po' people places to buy mostly sweatshop shit, amidst the few good deals (SOME, EVEN MADE IN USA LABELED!!!) that sometimes beat the other big box stores' prices. Is the DG CEO, Vasos, related to those devout Catholics named Vasos who are attorneys in metro KC? Hmmmmmm...

  3. If it is such a sweatshop to work at why do people work there? If nobody work there they would have no stores open. Once again the people have the power but do not know how to properly use it. There are plenty of union jobs available in the st. Louis area go move there. I have never understood why people work in jobs then bitch horribly and complain about the conditions here's a suggestion quit you dumb ass and go find a job that treats you better

    1. Dollar General is not only capitalizing on the economy but they bench on low-income families, single parents, etc to work for them. Basically building in a town that has nothing and providing a "job" and household goods

  4. Suuuuuure, 12:47, if the low wage/crazy schedule/no bennies DG workers don't like it there, they should just leave, LIKE ALL THE CRYBABY TRUMP HATERS LEFT THE USA WHEN HAG HILLY LOST, huh? Oh yeah, those were mostly arrogant, wealthy types: Spoiled Hollyweirdos, Pro Baller babies, Hip Hop hooligans, and assorted Democrimmies, mainly known for more money than brains!

Small town, struggling DG workadays getting BIGLY exploited is FUBAR as all hell. Like WalMart has numerous personnel on welfare, the other discount retails might as well, too. How 'bout those spouses and teens of our deployed GREAT AMERICAN military working at these high profit WallyWorlds and DGs get paid decent wages, since both retailers claim they give priority to hiring them.
