  2. But, but... the City spent months and buckets of money tearing up the streets and replacing pipes, just so this sort of thing couldn't happen!

    When the streetcar was first proposed, it was obvious that the City's long-ignored infrastructure would not allow anything that was dependent on a fixed route (tracks for instance,) to operate without interruption.

    Time, treasure and political assurances were poured forth to "solve" that matter, yet the first hard freeze puts the "Toy Train" out of action!

    Doesn't bode well for the "Plastic Shoebox" we're going to get at KCI, does it?
