KCK Murders Committed Near Police HQ

The rising level of local violence has very little respect for law enforcement or community outreach. Take a look:

Two recent unsolved downtown Kansas City, Kan., homicides happen within earshot of police

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police are investigating a pair of recent KCK homicides in an area you might not expect. Each happened downtown, within a block of the police department's headquarters or the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office. On Saturday, Rolando Mitchell was sitting in his downtown Kansas City, Kansas, home at 9th and Barnett.

  1. Well, of course. In KCK, unless a crime happens near the police station or a doughnut shop, police don’t bother to investigate it.

  2. Well, it said it did happen within a block of the police station, and can you blame them after what happened in Ferguson?

  3. Kansas City hood rats need to step up their game. KCK and Independence are ahead of us. We need 200 murders in KC this year. Baltimore had 343 last year. Our hood rats killing each other combined with the incompetence of Jean Petersucker Baker should take us over 200.

  5. Hey, this happened mere blocks from that cushy mayoral suite atop City Hall. Yep, mebbe Rev. Mayor was nearby at the pub on 5th Street with paid popos on security detail. Oops, wait, that will be after the council meeting when he gets the center table between council fermented and pretends he's somebody special.
