  1. Sounds like that lady has no business being a principal if she can't even handle her own child.

  2. I believe he was adopted from a Russian/Eastern Bloc orphanage. From what I've heard, he's had 'issues' his whole life and been a very challenging kid.

  3. You mean to say the "Plaza Of The Northland" is turning into as big a waste of space as the "Really Truly Plaza"?

OMG, how could it not be making money?
    It was build with TIF!
Everyone in the Metro Area KNOWS that whichever local Government body granted TIF wouldn't have done so if there was ANY chance that revenues wouldn't meet expectations, why that would mean they violated the rust placed in them by the citizens they serve!
And we all know that no Politician would EVER do such a thing, don't we?

  6. I hardly go to Zona Rosa. But not because of the people who go there. Unlike the Plaza, when I go there I hardly see a black person, or Mexican. So that's a plus. But all of the things there I have in my local shopping center as well. Why go that far north? For a Michaels, DSW or Macy's?

Only reason to go there is for some good Indian food at Swagat. When I go there, that's the only reason.

  7. I'm surprised that Zona Rosa hasn't folded yet. All the developers did was suck out businesses from the old Metro North Mall and plop them into the latest, greatest, shiny development to the west on Barry. No NEW jobs were created and it won't take much longer for the Zona to fall victim to this same situation. I absolutely HATE going there because the streets are a nightmare to navigate, there isn't enough parking where it's needed, and we get to pay extra tax because of the developer boondoggle. I'm giving it another 5 years as developers create the next best thing further up the highway.
