I guess Kesha needed to rebrand herself too. She did get screwed over on her record contract and put on a ton of weight because of it. Now she's singing a sad song instead of shaking her big ass.

Too bad, because the ass shaking was much more satisfying when she had fun drinking and smoking weed.

At least the millennials got to take a glimpse at having fun before it all ended.

      Thanks Obama.

  2. Not a bad show.

I thought hoopz wrote a column for the star. But she sings too? That's VERY talented.

    I like it!

  11. The entertainment industry is primarily comprised of those whose alleged talent pales in comparison to their narcissism. Their views on any topic are tainted by their addiction to publicity and nobody with walking around sense gives a shit what they think.

  12. 5:48 is right.

The idea that Hollywood takes a few hours away from raping each other to preach to us about raping each other and how bad it is, is a tribute to the Progressive zeitgeist, that dominates the 24/7 news and information cycle.

No matter what the stats show, the message is the same from the Media. For instance, blacks commit 8 times more violent crime than whites and are the tip of the spear with respect to Hate Crimes, if you only watched the news and listened to Hollywood, you would think that there were KKK members behind every bush, killing innocent, hard working blacks.

The METOO movement has devolved into the usual victimization clap trap with a patina of self-righteous indignation and the usual "look at me" narcissism that is cellularly ingrained in Progressives. Bandwagoning, bumper-sticker bullshit, designed for the immediate gratification of sub standard Socialists in the silo.

It's political. Everything is political and the pressure to follow the crowd in the Music Industry is no different then in was in 7th grade.

The rest of us grew up and have to pay the rent.

The Trump economy will "Trump" wet by every rain, blown by every wind, "Activists" whose need for attention is like a fuckin Death Star Tractor Beam drawing the weak minded into the usual lanes on a highway called Mediocrity.

  13. BTW, Tony is right, Bruno Mars was great.

  14. 7:21 -- yes, all correct.

When the METOO movement adopted the Larry Nasser (pedophile and child sexual predator) under their umbrella and claimed the judge who sentenced him a "new leader" of the movement, I thought I was going to vomit.

Pedophilia and adults who prey on children for sexual pleasure ARE FAR, FAR DIFFERENT than sexual misconduct -- most of which seems to happen at work or work-related activities.

The idea that METOO can equate child sexual predators with a ass-slapping or dirty joke idiot is disgusting.(I know Harvey and Russell Simmons, et al raped women but MOSTLY what this movement is about is INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL MISCONDUCT. Things that are NOT ILLEGAL, PER SE, like, say, rape. It's about women saying, hey, a jerk told me I had nice tits and I'm a victim too.)

    ReplyDelete
  15. the metoo movement is about women being powerful and standing up for themselves but it seems to me it's just more victimization. help me, i'm a woman, i can't do this myself. I'm part of a movement, i'm a victim.

That is not what we should be teaching young women. that's ridiculous.

  16. Women like to use their pussies to get what they want. When it doesn’t work, or when they are to old and their pussy isn’t wanted anymore, #MeToo is the result.

  19. Time's up for geezers giving their worthless opinions about a show, music, and artists that have nothing to do with them, or frankly would want to. None of you pants-shitting goons are the target demographic, so expressing your out-of-touch-opinions in this geezer echo chamber is the best you can do and sadly that's nothing at all. So continue to shit yourself, lament the passing of Lawrence Welk, the Andrews Sisters, and Benny Goodman, and realize life has passed you by and you are totally and wholly irrelevant.

Kind of like a sideshow of circus freaks.

  21. Thank god for old geezers because millennials can't put their phone down long enough to do anything worthwhile. Without old geezers this country would crumble in days. Keep up the good work, old geezers. And maybe, just maybe old geezers have some experience and insight into problems that young people full of hubris lack. Just maybe. Then again, probably not. The millennials got it all figured out, getting it done one craft beer at a time, one $8 coffee at a time, one SnapChat and Twitter post at a time. Good luck with that.

    ReplyDelete
  22. yeah.. old geezers dont watch Grammy's because it's targeted toward young people and once you grow up -- which is, like, 35 years old nowadays -- you realize how silly and stupid pop music is and you no longer care about the Grammys. It happens, that's life.

But the problem is this, in the "old days" entertainment and real world has a firm and easy-to-see dividing line. Nowadays it's all blurred together so real news is peppered with entertainment gossip and in-fighting among cable news hosts. Makes old geezers irritable to see their country falling apart and becoming stupider and stupider. But they'll be long gone when this shit comes to roost.

  23. I'VE SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE

Today's liberal activists grew up hearing about the Civil Rights movement and the Women's Rights movement. Their elders told embellished stories about the grueling struggle to overcome.

As today's young adults came to maturity they had little more to worry about than whether to ask for a Nintendo, Playstation, or X-box. They were raised amongst a generation of spoiled brats. As a result, in an attempt to earn their social activism badge, they've had to fabricate their own issues.

Not being a very creative generation, they've plagiarized from the playbook of their mothers and grandmothers. Women are being oppressed, and people of color are discriminated against, yeah that's the ticket! Rather fitting that these pampered powderpuffs chose to fight a battle that was already won decades ago.

Do you know why the viewing audience for these masturbatory award shows is dropping like a rock? People are exhausted with the liberal activist agenda and have little patience for some snowflake who wants to parrot PR lines from the Hollywood/Democratic Party pipeline.

In 10 years all of these young sanctimonious progressive liberals will be running the tech companies that spy and track on our every move. They'll working for marketing companies promoting credit cards and payday loans to people who have no business with a c.c. or short-term loan.

The hippies became the 1980s culture of greed and excess. Today's millenials will become the 2020s culture of psychotic narcissism and privacy invasion.

I mean, you probably think you will because you're still in diapers, but you'll get old one day and you'll be screaming, "Why can't we just drink craft beer and live on Twitter like the old days?!! Argh!"

Oh, yeah, the old generation is known for doing nothing but complaining. Hahaha. You might need to ask someone to pop the bubble that's clearly surrounding your head. Get some help, and some facts!

  29. Be carefull what you say folks , telling the truth is not popular today and the liberals will chastize you . You are correct . No sane man would hire a woman who he has to work close with. No sane man would complement a woman while at work. no sane man would have a lunch or dinner with a woman unless accompainied with others. Woman have dealt themselve a blow with the sexual harrassement stuff but have to fear, they can use gender discrimination now. Also don't expect men to open or hold doors especially for women. such a shame some liberal sexist woman started this war with men.

  30. Chuck speaks the truth. The pound-me-too movement is a modern day witch hunt equivalent. It is hard enough sometimes to believe what is presented as news. I never believe anything that is put forth on social media without some serious investigation by a more credible source. The problem is many news organizations source from each other, and the original source was social media to begin with. That is a big part of why nobody believes news agencies any more. Fake news. They did this to themselves by lowering their integrity in an ever more frantic dash for advertising revenue. ____ People who make sex misconduct charges over social media, (especially if they claim assault) should be liable for slander unless they have documented proof from the time it happened.

  40. The Grammy awards are always given to pop sell out groups and individuals. Commercial flash in the pans for the most part. The winners generally appeal to a very narrow range of listeners who are neither hip or cool with limited attention spans and taste. Dull and safe or over the top stupid is what gets Grammies.
