  1. Hollands last attempt to make KCK fire dept look bad. Dire dept should bring some boxes and help this dip shit clean out his office, so it will be ready for Alvey.

  2. This is corruption. Those firefighters owe the taxpayers our money back.

  3. It would cost the taxpayers much more money if the firefighters called in sick instead! Firefighters accrue paid sick time. If one calls in sick they still get paid, and their spot has to be filled by someone else who gets paid overtime. The city and taxpayers win if guys trade time.

  10. The firefighters are overpaid prima donnas and should pay back every cent of the money the stole. Holland is irrelevant because he lost. Let’s hope the new guy isnt as stupid and incompetent as Holland.

  11. Why can't it be both?

Holland is bitter AND the FD needs reform.

  12. Holland will see who is friends are tonight. This will thud to dead ears. The idea of not being the Mayor is just driving him batty. Standing up in front of everyone as a preacher just isn't enough for him... his ego needs constant stroking.

  15. Hateful, jealous, imbeciles have no F'n clue about the upside to some flexibility for FD shift coverages. @8:21 is correct, because 2 members' on payroll with full compensation (average compensation depending on service years, rank, and additional specialties like bi-lingual and multi-lingual: $24./hr pay + $90 per shift IAFF & KS state paid bennies + up to $29 per month federal bennies) to have one away receiving sick pay while the replacement costs taxpayers at the same time!

So, Rev. SNARK HOLLERIN' needs to STFU! SHOULDA FIXED THE FILTHY FUBAR OUTDATED TOXIC FIRE STATIONS LONG AGO INSTEAD OF HOCUS POCUS WITH LEGENDS SCAMMY AUCTION ITEMS RIPPED OFF & CARNIE BARKING ABOUT BIG IDEAS FOR DOWNTOWN THAT NEVER MATERIALIZED!
HMMMMM...kissing up to big buck$ Banks, while dissing the inner-city!
There are numerous dollars wisely conserved with the FLEX agreements that have been FD policy for the well over 5 decades that I personally know of. Why not some appreciation for the sacrifices FD make? They're very grateful when a member is fortunate enough to attend their baby's birth, help with a dependant child's sudden illness, give comfort and support at a spouse's emergency surgery, attend a very close relative's graduation or wedding, pay respects at a loved one's funeral, and more.

How 'bout that Methodist man-of-the-cloth's money scheme TAX DODGE of a church answer some AUDIT queries? How much does Trinity claim on food and other assistance to the poor when they STINGILY give out ONE paper sack of mostly expired crap, and send the needy on to the KCK Catholic Charities for employment guidance, utilities grants, loans, and other emergency aid?

  20. A person would have to be really stupid to not understand the trade time policy,... it doesn't cost the city a penny.
