  1. They have things called background checks that work better than the box.

  2. I would hire a felon over a millenial any day. The felon would have a lot more motivation and be more resourceful.

  3. You can ban the box but I'm still going to ask, "You aren't a serial killer by any chance.?"

  5. Why waste a felons time by “banning the box” you still have to tell them you don’t hire felons. Gay bow tie the clown sLIE is an idiot

  6. Politicians pass laws that cause employers to hire felons. The felon who is hired later reverts to form and becomes violent at work, injuring other employees. The injured employees higher lawyers to sue the employer for negligent hiring. The lawyers receive their share of the legal settlement or damages award and give part to the politicians who made it possible. And so it goes.

  7. So if you are an employer on parole and can not associate with felons you are screwed? How does a bar owner stay out of trouble since he can not have a felon serving drinks? Maybe the police department should be banned from asking applicants if they are felons? Perhaps we should ask the councilman who is felon pals are that he is trying to cover.

  8. No, the felons are screwed. Felons can't get a liquor card in KCMO. Easy.
