KANSAS CITY 2018 HOMICIDE #8: DEADLY SHOOTING NEAR P&L DISTRICT AS CITY HALL SUBSIDIZES MORE LUXURY LIVING SPACE!!!

Last night Downtown Kansas City counted its first killing of the year in the proximity of a party district that garners millions upon millions of taxpayers subsidy year after year . . .

Take a look:

KCTV5: Police investigating homicide near Power & Light District

Deets:

"The authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that happened behind a club overnight and left one person in critical condition. The incident happened in the 1500 block of Grand Blvd., which is near the Power & Light District, at about 3:15 a.m."

This is the 8th killing so far this year compared to 9 at this time last year - Sadly the local quotient of murder is getting back on track as arctic temperatures slowed down the pace early in the year.

Even worse . .. This killing near this posh location comes as Kansas City considers building a $17.5-MILLION parking garage for the "Three Light" luxury apartments & condos because the city says taxpayers are "obligated" to support some of the most expensive real estate ever constructed in local history.

Developing . . .

    2. Yes. It’s Trump’s American now. You are subservient to the rich now

    3. Pretty sure that was a joke. Please get a sense of humor. You're going to need it if you live anywhere near KC.

As for the money for parking.

NO WAY. KC has fulfilled its obligation for Cordish. They need to pay their own way now.k

  9. KCPD so stupid they know nuttin

  10. And the Power and Light District had not a fucking thing to do with this homicide. Go 10 blocks East or south from that place and you are back in the ghetto.

  11. The shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. Sunday in a parking lot behind Temptation’s Gentleman’s Club in the 1500 block of Grand.

  12. If the blacks ever figure out how many easy robbery victims there are downtown, crime is going to skyrocket. Most men downtown have some money and a phone and are gay, which means they will put up no resistance. Most women downtown are drunken sluts and an easy target for robbery and rape. Police will not interfere downtown any more than elsewhere, which is zero interference at all.

  13. So, what’s stopping the ghetto thug criminal murderers from coming to sLIE’s downtown? It’s his fault for keeping the police from doing their jobs, you can pin all the murders on his stupidity

  15. KC was once a decent place to live.

Now the rents are too high and the politicians are even more corrupt.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Since Cordish is not paying its rent for KCP&L district, now requiring a $15 million per year subsidy for their unpaid rent, shouldn't this negate any previous contract obligating the City to build them a parking lot for an expansion?>?

    What a bunch of pussies.
