  3. Too many non-white people live there is why crime is up. They break laws all the time. I would say the Northeatbis probably 75% illiterate. Lots of drug addicts.

  5. Northeast is one of the best areas in K.C. and they let it go down, it's the ghetto and will never make a come back. Even after driving through that area I feel the need to take a shower after. The sad thing is, the dumb asses in this city are so stupid they don't realize the tax dollars they could be getting on those huge buildings and mansions, but instead are getting pennies in that area.

  6. KCPD a failure as a police department.

  7. "Captain Young indicated that a similar operation in another part of the city essentially shut down the criminal element upon its conclusion."

I'm not aware of any successful anti-crime initiatives on KC. Elaborate, please.

  9. None of the neighborhoods on the map that are south of Independence Blvd./Ave. are in the "Historic Northeast." Only (from west to east) Pendleton Heights, Scarritt Renaissance and Indian Mound are technically Northeast neighborhoods.

  11. It sucks that this city is full of younger people with decent incomes that cannot afford to buy a house. The NE is full of affordable homes and could make a dramatic come back if the bad elements could be eliminated. Move them all to Hickman Mills and Belton.
