Kansas City Powerless Today

Thousands without power as sub-zero temperatures grip Kansas City area

Temperatures read 11-degrees below zero on Monday, the second coldest New Year's Day in Kansas City history. Wind chills were over 20-degrees below zero. As the frigid cold temperatures rocked the metro, multiple power outages caused issues for those living in the area.

Season of KC Prez Trump Giving???

Metro charities see record donations after tax law passed, but worry about the future

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Did you make your donations to your favorite charity today? Many charities see their busiest days in the last days of the calendar year, because of the tax write-offs those donations bring.

Tragic Fatal Crash To Start The Year

Driver killed in Kansas City crash

A driver was killed after their white GMC Yukon went off the road, struck a tree and burst into flames, according to Kansas City Police. The crash happened around 4 a.m. in the area of Grandview Road and E. 98th Terrace. Police said the driver was the only person in the vehicle.

Kansas City Fanboy Future

Patrick Mahomes makes his case to start for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos 27-24 on Sunday. It was officially a game that meant nothing and yet for Chiefs fans it meant a great deal. First, it means that Kansas City finished the season 10-6 and on a four game winning streak heading into the playoffs.

And this is the OPEN THREAD for right now . . .

Comments

  1. Mahomes is the future of the team.

To say otherwise would be nonsensical.

He had a great debut and she should be ready soon. Let's get Smith out of the way look toward the future.

  7. Mahomes is the future in another two years, he did enough to beat a practice squad team and that wasn’t exactly pretty. He still has a long, long way to go. Love his potential but to say he’s any thing other than a backup next year is ridiculous

  8. Mahomes is the future face of the Mediocre Chiefs in the next year or two.

Rush out and get those jerseys now boys, and be ahead of all the other clods at the office.

  12. @ 6:14, we are IN HELL!

The "Rapture" occurred at the stroke of midnight on December 31st, 1999 - anyone here now has been deemed unworthy of Heaven and is condemned to Perdition upon their death!

The only grace we have been granted is that God, out of love, and to grant us a last bit of solace, erased from our minds all traces of those whom he deemed worthy, and any memory of the events that occurred then.

Only a few were left with the ability to spread the truth, but mankind's innate sinfulness causes the vast majority of the damned to ignore or disbelieve us.

7:17, did you read that somewhere, or did you make that up all by yourself.

The "Rapture" is based on the nightmares of a Welsh woman, not the Bible.

  15. Byron. Did your children and Grandchildren celebrate Christmas? Tell the truth for once.
