In a government finance version of shaking the piggy bank, Kansas City leaders are looking at where they can find the remaining $60 million needed to fund the replacement of the deteriorating Buck O'Neil Bridge. Federal grants are a promising but unpredictable route that Kansas City is exploring.
Charge the 22 million Tourists that ride the Toy Train each year a buck a head each direction, that's $88 million in just two years!
